I'm Loving that we made taco salads for dinner the other night. Do you know how long it's been since I've had a good taco salad?! It was soo yummy! The kids even cleaned their plates!
I'm loving that today starts August! I always look forward to this month. Caleb turns 5 in just a week, and Brooke turns 6 later this month. Then they start Kindergarten and 1st Grade on the 27th. My parents celebrate their 41st Wedding Anniversary this month, also! It's going to be an awesome month full of celebrations and milestones.
I'm loving that Friday I plan on getting my hair cut off. I do it about once a year, when I get sick of it growing out long and stringy. I have the worst hair ever! It's thin, frizzy, and lifeless! It looks much better when it is short! So stick around for pictures! ;)
I'm loving that there are only TWO more days until the Skynyrd Concert!!! Wooooo!
I'm loving that we are going to dinner at Chick Fil A tonight to support them, in all the recent controversy. Rachel loves going there, anyway, so she will be thrilled! And I am all about their waffle fries, they are awesome!
I'm loving that tomorrow we are meeting at a new park in town for a playdate with friends. I hope it doesn't get TOO hot. And I have to remember to bring some water this time!
I'm loving that tomorrow is payday again. It's been a LONG two weeks.
I'm loving that the other night I caught the kids being downright adorable. The girls were sitting perfectly still on the floor and Caleb was putting on a puppet show behind the recliner. He was making his alligator talk.. it was hilarious.
I'm loving watching the gymnastics on the Olympics. Those girls are talenetd (and flexible!)
I'm loving that I finally found a book I had been missing, and wanting to read. I found it pushed to the very back of one of my book shelves. So it's next on my to-read list!
I'm loving that yesterday I vacuumed the crumbs and trash out of our van. So it looks SOMEWHAT better. Even though it has a long way to go!
I'm loving that this weekend is Caleb's turn for the Mama/kid date, to go out to get some school stuff and icecream. Brooke really enjoyed her day and I think he will too!
I'm loving that we are taking the kids skating again tonight. They need LOTS (and I mean LOTS) of practice before their party next weekend.
I'm loving that we bought a tub of chocolate icecream at the store this week and have been eating it for dessert after dinner. we have lots of leftover sprinkles from Rachel's birthday party, so we have been dumping those on, too. The kids have LOVED it.
I'm loving looking at the homecoming/reunion pictures of my friend Jess and her husband. He just got back home yesterday. They are such a sweet family. I hate she has to spend so much time apart from her husband, but he is an amazing guy for what he does for our country!!! :)
